In order to reduce the production cost and increase the final profit, the bottler together with marketing department, are often in a need to replace the neck finish of the current packaging toward a lightweighting solution that allow them to reduce the usage of plastic in the final packaging and in the new closure.

STIA Group is able to design a flexible solution for all neck finish options and/or different packaging that has to be used in the same line. Providing with a fully automatic options or manual solution the change over time to move from one neck to the other is drastically reduced and final efficiency is increasing. Different suppliers in the neck change over project?  STIA has the know-how and capability to lead this type of project from the blower up to filler in case of PET packaging.This is thanks to our long experience in manufacturing parts for this application, that we have already done with our partners around the world for all the major OEM equipment.

The project execution is as follows :

• Audit at the Customer plant to collect all the info and samples ( preform, closure and neck drawing)
• Preparation of a detailed report with analysis of the impact of the new neck on the filling line/Production
• Engineering and manufacture of the parts
• Installation of the parts and commissioning of the line with new neck
